Asking for prayers for my Dad. He died Monday morning at 92 years old, WWll Navy veteran and the best father ever. He's out of the nursing home and in a better place. Father of four and Grandfather of three, may he rest in peace. Love you Dad!

My condolences for your loss. My prayers for your father, for you and your family. Sounds like he lived a long and fruitful life.

Sorry to hear of your loss. The greatest generations that ever lived were the people like your father that fought in 2 world wars and went through the worst depression in history. We will never ever see their like again. ::pray:: ::handshake::

my condolences to you and your family...
.
Heavenly Father, please help our friend and his family in this time of loss. We know that Mr. Roy will be missed on this earth but our loss is heaven's gain.
Mr Roy lived a long life here on this earth but we know that is just a vapor compared to eternal life.
Please bless his family and I pray they will always look back at Mr. Roy's life with pride and fondness.
In the holy name of Jesus we pray.

Thanks everyone, getting ready to go to the funeral home and just strolling through the forum like I do multiple times a day. What's left of our family will miss him, you're all great, thanks for your support through this hard time.

I'm so sorry to hear about this Sam. I started to post yesterday and got interrupted and I'm not sure what happened to my post. I'll keep you in prayer today as you attend the memorial service. God bless you and your family and it sounds like your dad was as awesome as mine is. It leaves a huge hole in your life when they're gone.

So sorry to read this Sam. Your dad sounds like he was a great guy. Makes me happy that you had him for so long. I lost my dad when I was much younger, and I've missed him ever since. Prayers for you and your family during these difficult times. ::pray:: Mark. 8)

Everything went smoothly, my 9 year old son took it pretty well and I'm proud of him, I'm 65 and I hope I'm around at least until he gets through high school. It bothers me sometimes when I think about him starting a family and I may not be there to help but it is what it is. Thanks to all for your prayers and support, although I've never met any of you I feel like all of you are friends. I didn't mention this on other forums I'm a member of. Thanks from me and my family for your prayers and support, it means alot to me!!!

I missed this earlier. So sorry for your loss. Lost my dad a few years back, and while I miss him, I'm glad he is free of the medical issues he had in his latter years.

Your dad sounds like a great man, I'm sure you are proud of him. My condolences on his passing, I will pray for you and the rest of your family.
