Welcome Dedbrd. Don't know a lot about your knife except to say it is a great find. Been used but that just says that it has served it's purpose. Looks like you cleaned it up real well. Put it in your pocket and enjoy it. Share some pic's of your other finds. ::nod:: ::handshake::

Thanks guys! I worked on it with rem oil, pipe cleaners ,1200 grit sandpaper, and a buffer cloth on a cordless drill. The knife cost me $2 bucks!

Welcome to AAPK! Nice find - looks like probably a pattern 22087 small jack knife. If so it should be 3-1/4 inches closed length. That CASE XX stamp was used from about 1945-1964 (some references say as early as 1940). If you’re interested you can find more about this and other Case patterns through the Research section here on AAPK (access it by clicking on “Research” in the header way up there at the top of the page). Here’s a link to the section about the 22087: https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/co ... 76-90/#087

22087 looks like it. Mine doesn’t have the clip point. I wish it did. Thanks

I think yours has just been re-profiled. Possibly the tip was broken so the owner modified it, or maybe they just wanted a different blade. ::shrug::

Good find, and well worth the price. Of course, I’m a fan of well used HOK’s (Honest Old Knife).

Fantastic find, and welcome. The 087 pattern is one of my favorites.
