To parrot everyone else, good job! I see you retained the blade lock. Since I'm not fond of them, if I had your skills it would have gone bye-bye but that's just me. Excellent choice on the handles.

Gorgeous work! So forgive my ignorance...I'm in the early stages of pulling apart knives...and trying to get them back together Still trying to understand; I have 3 questions:
1) Are both new blades off the same Camillus...or is the wharncliffe from a different knife?
2) Did you use the old backsprings off the original knife...or did you use the backsprings from the Camillus.
3) Is it common to find interchangeable blades ...or another way of asking...If I break a blade, is it often possible (assuming same length blade) to use another brand knife's blade, with the old back springs.

Jerry said he would consider removing the blade lock; but, I was wondering, is it functional, with the new blade? Even if it wasn't...I like the looks.

Options. I left it for options. The main blade is free of locks. Also have the option to remove it via a dremel as it is. Honestly, I thought of making a new liner. Choices and options.

Jim, both blades are original to this frame. The wharncliffe was a screwdriver that was reshaped and reground. The only thing new to this knife are the scales. Everything is just cleaned, sanded, or reshaped.
Interchangeable blades are certainly possible. I have mostly used blades from the same maker and style. This forum is a great place to provide/find both donor blades, and frame/scale materials. Having tried to mix/match blades and backsprings mostly does not work. Usually the holes do not line up, or the thickness varies too much. Both remedied with proper tooling, but with the same tooling it is often easier to make a new blade/ backspring.
