Heres a pretty good Remington

I found while going through some knives today. I've had her for a little while, it just never got put away with the rest. It's never been used or sharpened, and has a full etch. Its got just a little surface rust near the nail pull of the main blade that I need to take care of, but other than that its pretty good. It even came in its original checkboard Purina box.

Mr. Remington man,
That kind of looks like celluloid outgassing. Are those celluloid handles? In the picture, it looks like it's on the small clip as well.
Sure hope not. I guess it could just be from humidity.
Nice old knife for sure.

Remington Collector, you'll be able to minimize the outgas damage to those blades by storing the knife with the blades open. It's also best to keep it away from other knives and try to store it in the open, or at least a ventilated area, and not in something like a glass case.
