Who likes elk?

I put the finishing touches on this one this morning. Filework all around, black liners and black and red spacers and some very thick well matched dropped elk stag. I held on to this piece of elk for a long time, it didn't quite work on any knives I tried to put it on. It fit this little guy perfectly, I think. I love my Job ::ds::

::dang:: I don't know how I would file my initials in a spring. A "D" would be a bit hard, the "V" would be no problem. ORVET would be hard too. Getting the file inside the "O" and "R" would be tough. I might be able to do it with a drill........hummmmm ::idea::

I forgot to answer the original question "who likes Elk ?"...Elk is one of the better game meats I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy...Yummmm ::drool:: ::drool::

cut to about 1/2" thick and chicken fry with gravy from the leavings. just like deer. ::ds:: let's eat!

let me know when you hit the parker county line and we'll have vennison for dinner. gauranteed good. i cut em up as soon as i walk up on em. on ice within 10 min. of rendering. fresh meat, no additives.
