Nice photos, too. Is the Sod Buster a Jr. or the larger one?

Thanks Doglegg, Trey is good company....oh wait, you mean the knives! Now the Muffinhead is upset. I tried to explain to him that it's a knife forum not a dog forum but he didn't want to hear it. He went to his room to pout.

It's a GEC Tidioute Model 23 Pioneer Trapper with Bocote handles. It's a handful and snaps like and angry gator.

So Bocote is the wood. I was wondering. Beautiful stuff. While I theoretically admire an alligator snap as much as the next fellow, I have learned not to play with them. My fingers prefer a blade a bit less ferocious.

Don't get your finger in the way when closing! It has a solid half stop that helps.Quick Steel wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 1:11 pm So Bocote is the wood. I was wondering. Beautiful stuff. That's a great looking shot of a sweet knife. Looks great, nice patina and aged and loved on.

Re: Knife Photography
Ahhhh, yes...the Muzzle Break. I had my eye on that one for a long time a couple years ago. I never followed through with getting it because I knew I would never use the way it should be used. Of the eight I have, my wife bought me 5 of them for Christmas last year. They were all on sale. She did good...at least she stayed away from Stauer and that cheap crap. The one in the pic is called the Muzzle Break, R2501K.
I believe you'll get some great use out of the MB. Plus, CRKT backs their products very well, should anything go wrong.

Great photos and knives, Scott and Charlie. It is a wet day here, but I did get this photo while walking around the garden.
