It's a GEC Tidioute Model 23 Pioneer Trapper with Bocote handles. It's a handful and snaps like and angry gator.

So Bocote is the wood. I was wondering. Beautiful stuff. While I theoretically admire an alligator snap as much as the next fellow, I have learned not to play with them. My fingers prefer a blade a bit less ferocious.

So Bocote is the wood. I was wondering. Beautiful stuff. While I theoretically admire an alligator snap as much as the next fellow, I have learned not to play with them. My fingers prefer a blade a bit less ferocious.

Don't get your finger in the way when closing! It has a solid half stop that helps.

Ahhhh, yes...the Muzzle Break. I had my eye on that one for a long time a couple years ago. I never followed through with getting it because I knew I would never use the way it should be used. Of the eight I have, my wife bought me 5 of them for Christmas last year. They were all on sale. She did good...at least she stayed away from Stauer and that cheap crap.

I believe you'll get some great use out of the MB. Plus, CRKT backs their products very well, should anything go wrong.
