Thank you friends!
Summer travels continue. Weekend in the mountains with good old friends. The rocky plateau visible in some of the photos is the Thracian sanctuary of Belintash, which I have written about before. viewtopic.php?p=593613&hilit=Belintash#p593613

Nice pics, sure beats picking up small bales and throwing them on the wagon, huh?

Great post! I think I visited Bollinger Mill as a youngster, my parents were big on day trips to historic sites. I just checked and I am only an hour and a half away, after seeing your post, I have put it on my list for next time I cross the river at Cape.

Do it Ike! It's a really cool place. It's the longest covered bridge out of only four in Missouri. I got married there. My wife's dad walked her across the bridge to me and the preacher and after the preacher married us, I walked her back across the bridge and we got into our car. My wife remembers when she was a little girl, her dad would drive across the bridge and all the kids would stick their heads out the window and shout like an owl to hear their echoes. You cant drive across it anymore though. But you can walk across it. There are old initial carvings on the beams. The old grist mill is cool too. You can go inside and sometimes they still grind the product for you under the huge concrete wheel. I think you would enjoy it. ::handshake:: :)

Thanks, Garry, and John. It is not only Blackberry time here, but the peaches are also ripe. My favorite pie, hands down, is a Peach and Blackberry cobbler. Some of these berries will go into a cobbler, and the rest will be eaten with yogurt. The next couple of rounds that I pick will be frozen.
