Not my neighborhood that's just some of the things to see in Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

Do you know why the marsh is being burned?

I'm new to this area but my understanding is that the DNR control burns areas of the marsh each year to promote new growth of vegetation that is beneficial to migratory waterfowl.

Thank you Keith. I thought it might be something like that.

A lost memory brought back to me. At our Christmas Open House today my sister brought me dad's Municipal Judge badge for the city of Krum, TX. I have his gavel and my brother and I wondered for 35 years what happened to his badge. After mom passed away last month my sister started going through mom's belongings and it's amazing all the things mom had "rat holed" away in the attic including the badge. I shined up and will mount it on the plaque with his gavel.

Robert,
What a great find. I know you will treasure this.

David, what a fine momento of your father. The photo, gavel, and badge must all provoke great memories.

Great find, did anyone get the desk name plaque, it appears to have a wood carving on it?

Yes, my oldest son because his initials are the same as my dad's.

That is great WW. I'm not sure if you could get 110 film anymore.
It's amazing, I have six or eight cameras and not a single one of them can take as good a picture as my cell phone! Cell phones have certainly changed the way we take pictures.

Millennial anti- theft transmission set up. Spicer 5x4. 5 forward and reverse on the main box (left stick). 4spd with overdrive on the auxiliary. 20 possible forward and 4 possible reverse. I say possible because it's rarely necessary to split all five forwards 4 times.
I tied on to a 250K pound load one time and still didn't need all of em.
The pic with my hand in it shows the main in 5th direct and the aux in direct (3rd). That means the output shaft is spinning at the same rpm as the engine. Moving the right stick forward will put the aux in overdrive.

Not to mention the Anti-Millennial dash with no touchscreen or USB ports!

Is this the same truck as your avatar picture?
If not can you show a picture of the outside?

Thanks Dale! I agree, my cell phone does a great job of taking photos. I gave the item to a co-worker who's wife collects cameras. She was tickled to get it.

The one in my pic is a 72 359 extended hood little window Pete. It had a 15 over with a 4spd aux with an over. 3.70 rears on 24.5 rubber. Hot 3406B Cat. It was a 120mph truck.
The one I posted was a 70 model W921 KW day cab single axle with a 335 Cummins and 4.10 Eaton. Fun little truck.
Here's some pics of both of them. I sold em both a while back and bought a motor home.

Very cool Willie.
I'm 60 years old, never have driven a "big rig".
I have driven fire engines and ladder trucks many times. Not the same though.

I'm 71. Spent most of my life jammin gears. Had to give it up in 03 when Nam caught up with me. I bought those two old rags to play hobby trucker with. Stupid fuel prices took the fun out that.
I downsized and bought a 47 Ford Super Deluxe coupe to play with now. I've got an old D6B dozer I'm using to clean up my place to play with as well as a 1950 Harry Ferguson TO20.
Never drove any fire trucks. Fighting a big shipboard fire in the Tonkin Gulf convinced me I ain't no firefighter.
