Phillip, gun season started this past Saturday and runs for 9 days. It's a really busy work week for me though, and I won't be able to get back out unfortunately.
We have that sign up partway down the driveway leading to our cabin, I thought it was kinda ironic as I had not been seeing much deer actvity....Apparently the bucks didn't get the memo that they were supposed to be leaping gracefully through the woods in that area.

It’s all good here. Haven’t been out yet this year. Son got a bird dog pup so been doing that.

Oh! What did he get? Quail hunting is my first love. That’s all we did growing up, back when there were still some quail.

Dad always liked to hunt an English Pointer and an English Setter together. Me, I was always partial to the setters myself. And some good droppers we had over the years (pointer and setter crossed).

We need pics and details man!
