The sky was an uncharacteristic brilliant blue today. My photos don't accurately capture it, but I tried.

It is a close up of something, but not an alligator. I would not want to be that close to an alligator! ::woot:: Good guess though.

Bingo! But not in a feed bucket, a hay roll instead. And spring grass. The cows always come looking for a handout when I’m out in the pasture! Had my phone I my hand so she was sniffing to see if it was edible. Somehow I snapped a picture but didn’t know it. ::shrug:: It was one of several. ::facepalm:: She’s ready to calve any minute now.

Eye catching shot, Jim.

Oledadknives. That is certainly the clearest shot I have seen is of Sassquatch, i.e. Charlie.

Pisgah Gorge in Jackson County, Northeast Alabama.

The creek that flows through and down it forms multiple waterfalls and empties into the Tennessee River just above Scotsboro.

Beautiful place.

I hike along its rim every May when the rhododendron and mountain laurel are in bloom.

I bought this childs desk the other day at a second hand store for $14.
Roll top functions perfectly and is in great condition as is the rest of the desk. All solid wood.
Minor water staining on surface. I couldn't believe the price. I'll find some lucky kid if I have to hang on to it for years.

My desk when I was a little boy. Not as fancy as that one.

What neat old desk that is, doglegg. Nice artifacts and books too. ::nod::

Here is my faded picture of Quanah Parker and the book "Empire of the Summer Moon". Have you read it?

I jumped on Amazon and bought "Quanah Parker and His People". :)

That is a very good book on Quanah. My wife was big into West Texas history and read about every thing she could on Quanah for a while. We visited his grave site at Fort Sill, and became friends with one of his grandsons. Visited several sites in he is associated with. Very interesting person.
