This mid-sixties Red Bone Case Jack Knife get a lot of pocket time. I use it to open my mail, cut twine, clean my finger nails, whittle, and for numerous other chores. It is tight as can be and does a double snap that makes you proud.

Thanks Gino, J.R. ! Gino, whereabouts are you located in Penna.. I grew up in Penna., about 40 miles up the Allegheny from the Burgh. Live in Oregon now, have for years, but never turned on my love for the Stillers, Bucs, and Pens. Watch them always as the stations grace us here on the left coast. ::tu:: Bull

Well, the girls got their Kershaw Leeks last night and I was pleasantly surprized that both loved them. My youngest had the opening and closing down pat almost immediatly and my oldest is progressing really well, she'll have it down with just a little more fiddlin'. I shouldn't have told her that they came in PINK. Now both want a pistol, my youngest in stainless steel and my oldest, guess what? PINK We'll have to see what Santa can do next year. Thinking about the PPK's. All you folks who recommended the Leeks, a great big thank you. Though the Schrade Switchit's are nice, the Kershaw Leeks are OUTSTANDING.

Gave my daughter a pink Kershaw Chive today. It's not a Christmas present, it's a "cause you lost your pink SAK to TSA last year". She likes it but doesn't seem too crazy about the Assisted Open feature. Maybe she's just humoring me. ::shrug:: :)

T.J. I'm glad your girls liked the Leeks. I sure like mine. After all that talk about carrying more than one knife, today I'm carrying two; the Leek and the Buck 55.

Guys sorry for no pictures (reader is bad on PC  ) but the last few weeks I've been rotating a mid 80s Buck 303, an old Kutmaster, a mid 60's 880, and recently (thanks W5RWU) a SWL2. Love those older knives

This little beauty handled the Christmas morning package opening duties. Not sure how dads manage to get toys out of the packaging without knives. Littlest Petshop stuff is more secure than Fort Knox. ::dang::

Johnny, if you haven't carried a 25 pattern yet, I think you'll be pleasantly suprised at how GEC put so much cutting power in such a small package. ::nod::

Johnny 'Shoes, I really like the "UN-X-LD" bolsters on that Red 25.

Sweet little carry, very nice gift … ::tu::

Been carrying it off and on for a few days. So far I've been good about sticking to my "every knife gets sharpened used and carried" rule. Does nothing to improve the value or collectibility of my knives, but I enjoy them all.

I think you might end up loving that SOG Gino! You will be amazed how much fun it is to play with and it will take and hold on to a wicked edge!

I got a little Gerber Paraframe from Cousin's hubby and it came out of the box very sharp.

It is confused however. Nail Nick opening Frame lock.

Not quite gonna blast the SOG Twitch II out of my pocket....
