Nice Buck 112-FG Ken - the 112 is a great size for a Lock-Blade knife. I've reverted back to carrying my old reliable most of the time - this Schrade 34OT. I did carry a 1990 Buck 303 on Sunday - it's 1/2 oz. lighter than the Schrade, has a much lower profile, and carries well in shorts. OH

Interesting knife Scott. I was unaware they were made beyond the "Shark Series" introduced in the late 70s' which of course included the "Mako". I assume it is still a 58L model number? Looks like a great knife to throw in the RZR or the Jeep.

Nice knives, everyone. ::tu::

Jerry, I really like that Case Tested you're packing. Maybe it's the yellow handles. :wink:

Doing something a little different today. I've got my usual trapper and also this new Bee tanto in my back pocket.

Thanks Dave! That knife I really enjoy and does it get sharp. I normally use it for tasks in leiu of a razor blade or razor knife.

A fine pair you are carrying there also. Very attractive and functional pair!

Nice carries guys ::tu::

A little story goes along with my carries today ::nod::

I am back attending college after 20 years in my last profession, construction ::undecided::

Attending a technical college, to try and move into computers later.

Anyway, today was the second day of class, comp 1000. Before class started, the gal next to me was having trouble opening a pack of pens. So, like I would always do, I offered to open them for her. She handed them over and I wooped out my ProTech and quickly opened them and handed them back. Well, the guy on the other side of me, ex marine, wooped out his knife to show it to me. Then the guy just behind us, active reservist, did the same. We sat and talked about the fact that we always carry a knife and the fact that it probably wasn't allowed at school :lol: :lol:

Any way, no one else even batted an eye and the class went on as usual. Just thought it was funny. Maybe it's because we're in the deep south, that no one saw the knives as anything other than that, just a darn knife ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::
