Thanks everyone, I couldn't help myself buying all these, and I bundled for good prices. I don't usually see a very good selection around these parts, so when I see them, I scoop them up.

I really took a shine to this one, from Majestic Cutlery Germany (1904-1927). It's a little guy at just over 3 1/8" closed. Great snappy half-stops, and what appear to be bone or smooth stag covers. All steel construction including pins. The shield is an interesting material also, aluminum maybe?

I think this is the first flea market I've been out to all year. It was a interesting day, a lot of old knife patterns, but most were used up junk. Still, I couldn't pass up a few for future use. I did score this great Union machinist chest, including some decent stuff still in it...

I also found a bunch of knives of various condition. These were nice old knives, but with something wrong on all of them (broke blades, pieces of covers missing, etc.) There were a bunch of others like that, but I needed to keep my focus, LOL.

Gun show finds for the day: The prize has to be a bone handled, 1865 etched, near mint, H.Sears and Son gunstock I picked up for $30. The Case XX 6232 I found for $12, the massive Robert Klaas Kissing Crane in awesome stag and sweet looking swedges (missing a Federal shield) was only $14, and the large coke hunter with a nice handle but really screwed up blade from an unknown company who stamped a pattern number that appears to be 41241 on the back tang. I paid $20 for that so I could waste hours trying to track down the maker. All in all it was a fun, and in my mind, a successful day.____Dave

jrg, welcome and knice pick up. Queen made that one for a number of years with several variations. Yours is the easy opener. Strong durable knife. Carried one all through high school. Not an expensive knife but a good EDC.

Did you literally find that #45 Queen? The handles are Aluminum and usually reflect the aluminum color. I'm 73 and never saw one of these until just a few years ago. Since then I have run across several. My latest one has the 1955-1957 Queen tang stamp with PAT. PENDING on the pile side of the blade, all the rest have the patent number on the mark side as does yours. It is assumed the one with the tang stamp may be an early model. The etch is very clear on yours. The one I have like yours, with the EZ open notch and the bail has some nicks in the blade where it has been allowed to snap closed on the bail which also has cuts in it. When they close from the 1/2 stop position, they have quite a bite!

Great score! I have a newer (1990s) version of that knife, which I often use outdoors. I usually carry it in the nylon scabbard most Mini Maglites come packaged with. The EZ Open notch means I can get it open easily with gloves on, and the bail allows me to tie it off when fishing. Plus, it doesn't weigh a ton. Interesting yours lacks the "EO" nomenclature mine has on the etch for "Easy Open". And not to mention, yours has the superior 440C steel; while mine is 440A; which doesn't hold an edge as long.

Found this yesterday in a drawer at a house we just bought and are moving into. I’m really excited about this house and this cool little find made it even more exciting. From my cursory searching I believe it’s a Colonial but there are no readable markings on it anywhere. Any help in identifying this thing would be awesome. Thanks you guys.
