I've long been curious about the shield on that one...What is it called? I always thought it looked like a Manta Ray so I dubbed it a "manta" shield. But, I've seen it referred to (in two separate silverladdy eBay listings) as a "celebration" shield and as a "lamp" or "brass lamp" shield (although the shield itself was nickel silver, not brass).

I can't get a clear enough view of the shields in either jerryd's or Smitty's photos, so not sure they're exactly the same as the one on my Toasted Amber Bone 07W, but the medallion in the blister-pak appears to have some words on it; I wonder if they might shed some light?...like if it was only affixed to knives that were released to commemorate / celebrate some event or company milestone, for example, then calling it a "celebration" shield would make sense.

See, this is the type of Mini-T trivial minutiae that keeps OCD Monkey up late at night.

A 2010 Mini-T Delrin Handles in Navy Blue UF. That's what the box says, Don't know what the UF stands for. "Ultra Flat" I already had one in this color with my carry rotation knives, but decided to add another.
