I'll tell you what garddogg that Gerber will come in handy for you. I carry the exact model with me every day at work and on average use it at least 5 times per day when I don't have my tool cart handy.

Nice, older Buck, Dogg. The blades really nestle down in that model, carries like a small pocketknife, yet with ample blades. OH

Good going garddogg. Buck and Gerber, back when I was a working man I used a Gerber then after a few years a Leatherman everyday. A bucket truck is just like a 2 story house, what ever you need is down stairs. It was knice having the multi tool handy.

OH what were you using for bait to catch that little knife? I bet it was fun.

Doglegg and Rex ya gut that right they are handy,I hear ya about the bucket truck,try a 385' wind tubine looooong way back down the ladder ...OH looks like a fun trip,and yes them Muskrats carry small

Not usually into razors but I found a Henry Boker Tree Brand razor. Sadly it’s on the wrong handle. If anybody has a handle and or box for it let me know! It was worth $20 for me to have the blade at least. And something different for the collection.

385 is a skosh higher than my 34 feet. That's higher than the seats I get at the ball park!!!

I haven't been here for quite some time but I recently picked up something that I wanted to share with you all. My wife and I were up in the Gold Country in Placerville CA and came upon this wonderful little F Ward & Co Bowie. This is first knife that I've actually purchased in years but when I saw this little beauty I knew I was pretty much going to buy it. From what I read and also someone had also posted that Fred Ward & Co Sheffield England made knives from 1856-1883. I picked it up for what I think was a pretty good price of $175 but I wished it had a sheath. Any comments or information is always appreciated.

Great looking true vintage knife and in excellent condition, looks very little used. It looks to be a good size too, about 12" ?
I do not collect fixed blades but i think anyone who does would be quite excited to have found this beautiful knife.

I'm not really not much if a Fixed Blade collector but the when I saw this beauty and the shape it was in I couldn't pass it up and I've always wanted to have a nice old Bowie in my collection. Thanks for the comments!

It is probably a "Long Hunter" pattern rather than a Bowie. Long Hunters first came out in Britain about 1880's-1890's i believe. The idea was to give hunters a knife similar to a Bowie but a little smaller because a Bowie size knife is big enough to be a bit awkward for field dressing, etc.
Hopefully a fixed blade collector will see this and correct if necessary.

I think this is the first flea market I've been out to all year. It was a interesting day, a lot of old knife patterns, but most were used up junk. Still, I couldn't pass up a few for future use. I did score this great Union machinist chest, including some decent stuff still in it...

I also found a bunch of knives of various condition. These were nice old knives, but with something wrong on all of them (broke blades, pieces of covers missing, etc.) There were a bunch of others like that, but I needed to keep my focus, LOL.

Then I started to find some decent ones...

This Stainless is almost mint

All in all, a solid day at the flea market!
