Lawrence, that shield is a strange one! I have seen it before - but not with a fish shield on the other side!
Wonder what it is supposed to be? ::shrug:: Kinda looks like a comma to me... but who, what, when, where, and why???

What you guys think it is?

That is some killer color on that jack, Scott! Love it! ::tu:: Nice find buddy!

Glad yall liked the Richards cards. :D

Joe, that is super cool! I never saw that knife before, I imagine its fairly rare? Very cool! ;)
Is it the only deer knife or did they do the other well known such as dancer, donner, prancer, etc...?

Merry Christmas my friend ;)

I'm loving hanging on the deck taking photos and smoking a cigar and watching the birds at the feeder, maybe a adult beverage

Re: shell handled knives

these are different kinds of shell knives
I believe the bolsters are shell with a strip of metal attaching them, and the handle material pinned to that strip
the Prov cut co (@1917) is a colonial related early company according to Bonfire Bob
I have no idea about the orange knife except the shell bolster, there is only Patt#s on the tang
there is a Imperial England there too, not sure of the date on that one
