David, you and I were admiring the same sunsets last week, just a few miles apart. This was in Parker County.

It sure looks like it! Didn't know you were so close by. That makes 4 AAPK members that I know of here in the North Texas DFW area.
Know anyone looking for a set of these? The chrome is worn, but might be better than having a repro set.Mumbleypeg wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 4:14 amYep, windshield swing arms, 1928-31 Model A Ford. Would fit my 1930 Model A.zzyzzogeton wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 12:09 am They are called "window swing arms" or sometimes, just "swing arms".
They certainly appear to be Model "A" swing arms. At least they look like the ones on my 1929 Model "A". However, they could be from a Model "T", a Model "A" or a Model "AA" as the arms for all three appear identical.
We know that they are NOT Model B or Model BB, because the swing arms for the "B" and "BB" were curves.

It is an x-ray image with terrible bilateral femoral and hip fractures resulting from the unfortunate victim having their feet on the dashboard when an accident occurred causing the airbag to deploy.

I assume you guys are starting on wheat now.We have had to suffer thru China tariffs etc.for a couple of years. Prices are picking up on corn and soybeans here in the states.Farmers are hoping Biden doesn't dick things up.Hope you have a bumper crop and a safe harvest.cudgee wrote: ↑Fri Nov 06, 2020 3:45 am We have our harvesting season set to start soon, and after a dry start to winter a lot of growers got bumper spring rains which will result in a bumper crop barring any unforeseen events. But the poor buggars have hit a hurdle. the Chinese have decided to put huge tariffs or boycott a lot of our agricultural products for some reason, so there is a standoff at the moment. Hope it gets cleared up, listening to people who know, it could bankrupt those caught up in it. Anyway i know a lot of you are in rural areas and enjoy these sorts of photos, so here is a header having some service work done before the harvesting starts. You all have a good weekend.![]()

Rodger, heard on the radio this morning things may be getting sorted with China, i really hope so. Our cropping is about to start, but there has been some major government stuff up's with a new rail project that won't help. I just fear for you people over there with covid, they have to get on top of it, the numbers are frightening, and i feel sick every time i hear them. On a brighter note, and this is for Ken also, going to post a photo of a bumper Wheaten Hay crop, most of this goes into stock feed, especially for horses. Hope you have a good week, and stay safe in these challenging times.peanut740 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 9:23 pmI assume you guys are starting on wheat now.We have had to suffer thru China tariffs etc.for a couple of years. It goes both ways ZZ, jacks the prices for everything (in the long run).zzyzzogeton wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 11:16 pm I guess I'm totally ignorant about how tariffs work. I would think that if China put a tariff on something, it would raise the price for the "thing" to their own people. I know that when tariffs are placed on things coming into the US, prices go up.
We are having trade issues with some products that we sell to China at the moment, it is political. This is is a fun thread,i do not want to politicize it.zzyzzogeton wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 11:16 pm I guess I'm totally ignorant about how tariffs work. China announcements of tariffs is a polite way of saying they aren't buying nothing at any price.cudgee wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 11:23 pmWe are having trade issues with some products that we sell to China at the moment, it is political.
