Great pics guys, all of them on the page.
Had enough hair on the vacuum beater brush to make a wig. The Kizer Splinter blade was perfect for getting in there and sharp enough to get it right off slicker than snot.

I like how that one is designed. We have three around here, and neither really allow any room to get hair and string/thread cut out. The Shark has quarter-turn fasteners holding the bottom plate on, while the other two require removing several screws to get a knife in there to cut it out. Even a small penknife tends to not be able to get at fibers with the bottom plates on.

You're talking about the vacuum right? Well, it does allow you to get a knife in there for removing hair from the brush, but the suction is poor and the price was high and I'm real disappointed with this model. Using it on a wood floor or linoleum is a waste of time, won't pick up most things. It picks up stuff on carpet, but on a smooth floor it sucks. Our old $39 Hoover picks up better on flat wood floors and carpet. This POS was over $500 and it came with a heavy dose of buyers remorse which is still affecting me.

Looks great. I was going to ask what dressing you used but you answered that. Your "presentation" of the salad is excellent.

I had to cut through several thick green oak branches that kept whacking me when I was mowing the yard. I'd left my big folder at the house, but had my Gerber EAB utility knife with a Lenox Gold blade in it. I was surprised how well that little knife handled the job. I also used it to cut and sharpen the ends of weed eater string.

Well here is something a little different. My wife and I went for a hike today. She has been having problems with the outside of both little toes lately where her shoes rub on her foot. After about 3 miles ,with another mile to go, she stopped and sat on a rock and took her shoes off. She asked that question we all wait for " you have your knife?" Of course I do. She had me cut out toe holes on each side of her shoes to take the pressure off those toes. Looked a little funny but she walked like a young girl that last mile. Do I have a knife...indeed I do. several as a matter of fact.
