I used my Queen #19 (real Winterbottom bone handled) trapper to skin Bambi this evening. :)
Miss Joy was taking some pictures and I thought about this thread, "What did you use your knife for today?"
That's what I had in my pocket, worked just fine!

that's pretty cool. most people are not skilled enough to butcher their own. I was raised to do it myself but most don't get the importance of what you are doing.

Got my lure caught on something on the bottom and had to pull the line and break the knot - tied on a new snap and cut the tag with my Keen Kutter. That’s all folks! OH

I used the coping blade on this jumbo Congress to cope a joint on this reclaimed wood hall table I’m making.

Cleaned out the chicken coop. Used the Buck to cut straw bale rope and open feed bags. The barlow is for backup.

Shad fishing on the Neuse River yesterday, got snagged and had to cut my braided line and re-tie the leader. A knife is handy - you are not going to snap braided line. OH

I used the Camillus 72 to clean up the edge of a 1x4 I cut down in the miter box.

I used my case sowbelly a fair bit today for typical tasks but for the duty of crawling in the gravel under a new house I swapped to this 61ot. I had a few minutes to kill while under there so I left a momento. Not so bad for me laying sideways, I think.

If anybody can find the carving they can have the knife. :D

Very cool, Paul! Now, just where is this house? :)
Today, I was clearing a couple hundred yards, for a road. The tractor cleared up a lot of prickly pear cactus...but; some knocked over, pads remained. Big Bowie came in handy, for picking them up and tossing them off the road. Additionally, a few overhanging, small limbs got whacked.
