Cuz, I'm envious of that 1st Gen 72. I love those devils. Congratulations. I hope its blades still have their snap.

Hanks Cuz. Yeah, these sure don't come up very often. According to the seller the snap is good. And we know that EBay sellers always are truthful. Right?

This one is a bit more used than my other 1st year 72. So this one MIGHT get packed ever so often. ::tu::

That Coyote is a little tiny thing @ 2-13/16" closed. It was purely an impulse purchase and the jury is definitely still out on it.

Colonel26 wrote:It's been a bit of a dry spell, but the dam broke tonight. I won three knives in two eBay auctions.

The first is near and dear to my heart. It was a two knife deal, a Camillus 64 delrin and a first year Camillus 72 in Rogers bone. This is the second one of these 1946 72's I've found, they're my favorites. The first pic was what showed on eBay when the listing came up. The second pic was buried about three pictures in.

The second one was an eBay buy too, from our very own Paladin. It's a fine fine fine old HOK, just my style. It's a red bone Boker USA stockman 4 1/8 inches long. The bone is perfect and there's just enough blade loss that it'll get good and sharp. Thanks Mr. Ray!
.....col., I'm with you on the old "72's", I love 'em and that's a nice one!!..i've been lucky enough to find 3!!.....my favorites are still the old Camillus split backs, though, and I've only been able to find 4 so far!!............... ::tu:: ::tu:: ....................

Yeah, I'd love to have an old Camillus split back too. But I don't think I've ever seen one!

My first, first year 72 came from Pete Cohen. He was at the Cave City gun show and it was the only 72 he had. I asked it what he'd take for it and when he told me I just about ripped my pocket getting my billfold out. It's in better shape than this one.

I'd like to eventually find another one so I can put back one for each boy. They don't seem to come up very often. And since they were only made one year like this me, you, and Jerry might have cornered the market on em! ::tu::

Well there ya go! The last remaining two. Lol.

As always, I'm on pins and noodles (sic) waiting for this one. For what ever reason, I just cannot resist these 3-3/8" jacks. Found this Camillus 14 on eBay with fairly bad pictures (see below) and a seller telling me the handles are Delrin. Not even close Country Boy. Let's hope he got the good snap correct although I've yet to see one without good snap. Even then, I didn't quite get it for the song I wanted to sing.

Sellers picture.
Seller's Picture.jpg
Seller's Picture 2.jpg
Cleaned the pictures up some and Voila. She ain't Delrin at all. Come on baby, come to papa.
This is my seventh Camillus 14 and my second one with bone handles. Someone call a doctor! I'm sick!!! Now granted, I've given two of them away (not the bone) but still............
