It looks like GEC sends out the new releases first in small lots, perhaps only 10 or so per dealer. Then a week or 2 later the dealers receive a larger order of knives, perhaps 30-40 or even more.
I think this is to make it less easy for the ebay flippers to scoop up bunches of new knives and it seems to be working.
Right On GEC ! ::woot::

I suppose though it depends on whether dealers have the ability to track "one per household" over the course of different drops. I feel like I've observed more folks getting multiples than what we were seeing in the recent past.

I know that not everyone who gets multiples are flippers, and not every flipper has to get multiples. Personally, I'd rather see it go back to all dealers get their allotment at the same time.

I liked the old way...where I missed a drop and was frustrated once. I finally got one of these; but, experienced frustration, at least ten times...before I finally got one. It doesn't hurt, as much, to walk in to a wall once...but to do it over and over. I don't see where linking negative buying experiences...to a brand...can ultimately be beneficial. Just my humble experience and opinion.

I just picked up my Stag #92 from Collector Knives. Mike did not post individual pictures. You just pay and he sends you one. I quite like this system. It is easier on the 'nerves'. And i am not super fussy. All stag looks pretty good. Well, the knife i received is Excellent, Top Notch. Wonderful knife ! I will post pictures when the sun returns.

Glad you got one Roland, looking forward to pictures.

Mine from Mike showed up yesterday, I really like it. I'm going overboard on the 92's, really like the pattern and it will probably be a couple years before they run the pattern again.

Heads Up ! "Store Only" GEC#92 Eureka Jack Antique Golden Rod bone knives for sale. 8 are for sale. These knives have minor defects , nothing wrong with them. EDC knives ! I bought 2 different GEC#43 "S" Store knives last year. The knives are a great price for EDC. Nothing really wrong with these knives. No guaranty ! I already bought my two , or I would be jumping the dirty one right now ! JSR Sports and More ----- KnivesShipFree has on killer Sambar Stag Eureka Jack #92 "gone too!". The Knife Connection sold out the #86 Oil Field Jack Oil sucker rod wood knives in minutes !(9:50am 11/4/2019) The Knife Connection reloaded on Sambar Stag #93 Eureka Jacks today and they have 6 left. The Eureka jack #92 Antique Goldenrod "S" knives are gone.
