I don't have the Brass Hawkbill but I did see one with Dynamite Fuse Advertisement on it at a Gun Show. The knife was Mint and the seller wanted $250.00

Excellent Wire Jack. Unique in my experience. Thank you for posting the photos. The blades must rotate within a larger-than-usual channel cut into the end of the wire handle. I would love to see that close-up. The pivot pin would have to be longer, of course. If you have another Wire Jack you could compare how both pivot pins are set (folded over on the ends) and how the channels are cut in which the blades rotate. Are they similar or different is the question you want to answer.Phin Spencer wrote:Hi all....... Have any of you seen a 2 bladed wire jack? I have 1 I got
a while back. I can not find it in the George Schrade book, I don't
know if it is legit or not both blades are marked wire jack over pat.

This is a working PDF of Glen Davis’ Wire Jack piece archived on a Schrade collector site.
I’ve screen printed all pages so if this PDF fails to work for you ping me.
If you know the disposition of my hero Glen Davis please ping me and/or post something. Thank you.
Here is the Geo Schrade wire handle Hawkbill Pruner "cleaned" up a bit.New_Windsor_NY wrote:I literally just won this knife. Another Geo Schrade wire handle Hawkbill Pruner. Looks to be in rough condition, but might clean up nice. The pictures are the seller's. I will post my pictures when I receive and clean the knife.
I don't go too crazy cleaning mine. Just enough to make them look presentable. I'd leave yours where it is. Yes, I do believe that your knife was part of a Boy Scout Utensil Kit. They are cool little knives.Byrd wrote:Here's my one and only wirejack. I got it in a lot of 5 knives off EBay. Only paid $25 for the 5 and one was a Buck that's at the factory now for a spa treatment.
I've cleaned this up a bit but my question is how far should I go? I got the active rust off it and stopped. Also do you think this was part of a Scout mess kit? Cool knives!
This seller wants $75 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/old-antique-vi ... SwMURarkiIByrd wrote:I was shopping on EBay last night and doing two of they wirh.an asking price of $75! Are they worth that much of are the sellers just wishing?
These are what I have, so far. I'm pretty sure I didn't pay over $30 for any of them.Byrd wrote:Agree! I didn't see the other two, just the $75 one. I think the $33 is probably more in line with what these are worth. It's kind of jacked up though. Missing the internal guard and the frame looks sprung. Then again I'd never seen one until I got the one I have.
