As difficult as some may find it to believe, I waited until this morning to open Mike's Christmas present (proof attached).

Now you gotta admit, it wasn't gonna cause a brain cramp figuring out it's a coffee cup and those who know Mike and me won't strain something figuring out it's a Marine Corps coffee cup. That said, I have to tell ya, the wow factor of the cup set me back a few notches and I NEVER expected the little Camillus 41 nestled in it. That knocked my socks off. I don't know how Mike knew that I'm infatuated with the 41s. It's been kind of a secret lust so he probably just got lucky. Love the cup Mike. Love the 41. Thank you a bushel & a peck young Devil Pup.

JoeDirt plowed me under with this bomb.

Top knife is a mini easy open with abalone pearl handles.
Bottom knife is a converted electricians knife I'm guessing with cow horn handles, beautiful scroll work on the spine and all converted to an easy open (EO) knife.

The ding in the blade was not there.....I put it there yesterday as I stroked my ferrocium rod to ignite sparks and obviously did it too many times in the same spot and it melted or chipped the blade.....good thing it didn't affect the custom work!

Well I got BOMBed today by our own wtf! Lyle I really like both of these and you are too kind my friend! This Bridge Cutlery Stockman is very solid and will make a nice EDC in celluloid for me. And who doesn't like the Imperial EOs? Nobody I can think of.

Great looking cell on those, Perry! Please keep an eye on those, though. I gave my dad a Schrade Cut co with those same cell handles some time back. It had been in my knife roll for quite awhile with no issues, but I was over visiting the other night and noticed a top to bottom crack on both covers that weren't there before. He swears he didn't drop it...that cell is finicky stuff...

Will do Glenn, too bad on those cracks. I'm gonna try to keep these out in the open as I do with all my cells. Causes me to have to dust more but it's worth it. And I'll be carrying this stockman for a while.

That's what is bothering me on the one I gave to my dad. It's out in the open, but wasn't in direct sunlight or anything like that. You have great knives, I'd hate for anything to happen to them.

I'll probably do a mod on his in the near future...

I appreciate that Glenn! I have been pretty lucky so far with only 2 newer ones that Charlie had made some years ago to have outgassed. Shrinkage is about all I've encountered. I'm not sure bout this, but I think it tends to have something to do with the climate you live in or moving from one to another. Every time I buy one on ebay I wonder if it's gonna last once it gets here. So far so good.

Well today I was BOMBED by our own ricky! Thank you Ken for thinking of me on this HAMMER BRAND shell knife and you're right, I don't have this particular handle in green and grey stripe on a toothpick fish knife. When I pulled it out of the box it didn't have any snap at all but after spraying some Birchwood Casey gun scrubber and one drop of Quick Release, it was snapping like new! Thanks again ricky for your kindness, it will go in a place of honor. I put in my Change Maker case right next to it's Topsy little brother.
