Found this one in back of display cabinet…I don’t remember where it came from or how I obtained it but it’s a beauty

This pocket knife arrived very recently in a large group of pocket knives that I purchased. I did NOT buy the group to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, I am NOT complaining that it was in the group. It is a Sabre, two blades, single tang stamp, two stamped bolsters, 3 1/4" closed, "BARLOW" pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp reads "Sabre - JAPAN." One bolster reads "BARLOW" and the other bolster reads "Sabre BRAND." Both blades have a VERY WICKED snap.
It is in EXCELLENT condition. It did NOT require any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

My favorite Barlow keeps shifting on me. Be that as it may, this one is my current favorite, at least for today. I like that it is dressed up with a bit of scrimshaw.

Thank you tivic and John. tivic I see your Barlow as being the essence of the pattern: simple, clean, classic.

New Windsor, tvic, those bones really grabbed my attention for the color and the texture and aged look. Congrats on all counts gents, those are some beauties. Love looking at old bone with those colors and such. Great lookers. Bone looks very old school and to me old school is the best school when it comes to classic bone color.

Probably my favorite and most loved Barlow, from GEC at least. 77 Yankee from Collector Knives. Thanks to Mike Latham.
And a Mustang riding along with it.
