Thanks wiseguy.......I have found the PB Invincible to be the most addicting switch I have had yet.
Just got the knife last week and have fired it 500 times at least, has some blade wobble but never fails
to click open, really would like to find a NM example of the smaller business model.

Picked up this circa 1979 Schrade Scrimshaw Barlow last week. OH

I like those 5UHs and also the 55UH. The one you don't see about, is the small Green 53OT... Kenroyal0014 wrote:My two newest.

Re: My latest Schrade
Nice Barlow Bruce! Those usually come with brass bolsters, but that one appears to have nickle silver bolsters.
I have a new 55UH without box on the way. They are hard to find these days.
They are getting expensive as well.
I will post a pic when it arrives.
The 53OT & 55OT were both only made for a year or two.
They appeared in the Schrade catalogs in 2002 & 2003 but were not in the 2004 price list.
I don't know how many were made, but I thing the grind of the blade put a lot of people off them.
For those of you who have not seen one they are only sharpened on one side.
Maybe I can find one of mine and get a pic if anyone wants to see one.

Re: My latest Schrade
Dale what I noticed when I was putting both of them away is that they don't have very good snap.I think it it is a tight fit against the liner lock.I might be another reason they did not sell many.

Re: My latest Schrade
Hi Dale Old Mate,
I have two new 55UH NIB, the 55UHs often have cracks from the brass hole at the end of the handle.
It took me quite some time and six knives, to find two NIB 55UHs without the cracks.
I found six 53OTs in the blister packs, back in 2005 and have not seen then for sale for some time now.
The 24OTX is another hard to find NIB knife.
The 3OT and 6OT knives always cost the most on eBay, I like the 3OT myself.

Re: My latest Schrade
Grant,
The design of the pattern and the liner lock combine to make for a pretty weak snap. I think there may have been heat treating issues with the springs as well. I have several of them in my parts knife bins with broken back springs.
Ken,
That is a nice pile there ol’ buddy!
BTW, any luck yet on finding a Black Ice? No luck on this side of the pond.

Everyone has to start somewhere. Here is a nice Schrade Old Timer, Game Muskrat Knife #77OT that I'm currently using as my EDC.

Re: My latest Schrade
Don't have a current pic, need to clean old pics from my camera, but is a first for me. A 61OT, which unfortunately it's previous owner apparently let sit in a pan or something holding water. I covered the 3 blades and springs with Break Free CLP. Has always worked well for me to clean up blades and springs. Will post a pic when I get some pics off the chip in my camera. Aside from having some mild rust, it appears to be a nice older Schrade. The knife was crammed full of pocket lint.
