Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Nice pair of knives!
I used to not be a big fan of the Caribbean blue but I’ve really come around to it especially in the barn wood pans saw cut jig.

This is my first XX. Picked it up at a brand new local antique where they hadn’t priced it yet. He knew it was a Case and when I asked what he needed for it, he said $20.
Rough black gum fuddy, blades look like they’ve never been sharpened. 62031 1/2.
I was shocked by how strong the pull and snap are on both blades!
Handles are pristine.
