A 410ga/45LC Taurus Judge sounds better but I'll bet you can't have one over there and that's a dirty shame. A buddy and I bought one for another good friend for his birthday several years ago. He loves it.

I'm a big fan of Animal Planet, a TV channel here in the states dedicated to all things nature. Steve Irwin, aka Crocodile Hunter, was a favorite. He dealt with the browns on numerous occasions. Not something I'd care to encounter!

Ray, guns per say are not outlawed, semi-automatic guns are illegal to possess, but that only applies to licensed gun owners, and it is a rigorous process to obtain a licence and purchase a gun. Our streets are awash with gun crime in the state where i live, all illegal guns always end up in the hands of criminals. Hope that clears a few things up for you. Have a good week.

Glad you like nature shows, so do i. Brown snakes are nasty critters that you do not want to encounter, but i don't fancy your rattlers all that much.

Well he's an over the top kind of guy. Been hanging with him (and the other guy) for over 50 years. They're my brothers. When I need 'em, they are there and vice/versa.

You're probably thinking of fruit from places like California or Washington State which have huge commercial production, and a much different climate than I have.
Texas has some commercial orchards also, but mine is just a home orchard. Pears here typically ripen in August and September depending on the variety. Apples ripen anytime from mid-June through August, depending on location and variety. It's a looong way from South Texas to North Texas so there is a fairly big spread between frost dates, which means different varieties grown in different parts of the state. Probably more than you wanted to know.
