Here. Here Jerry! I posted a similar reply earlier in this thread (a page or 2 back) and got my hand slapped. No worries.
This poster reminds me of Bacon Lover......anybody else agree?
BTW, Jerry, I wholeheartedly agree with you! (beer toasting emoticon).

You know, I'm not sure. It doesn't have any brandings at all. My brother was originally going to get us all case xx lock backs, but the case outlet didn't have enough in stock and couldn't get the rest in time, so he went with another knife. He never said what they were though.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I can't find the forum rules posted any where I'm looking. But by the looks of it, politically and religiously oriented avatars and signatures are allowed here. Plenty of people with overtly Christian signature files post here and (thankfully) nobody says "boo" about that. Nobody is hollering about people shoving their views down other people's throats. As a person who considers himself to be devoutly Christian, I'm grateful that religious signatures and avatars are allowed here and am quite happy to accept Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and whatever other signatures as a part of that.zp4ja wrote:Sorry to temporarily derail the thread but...
Hey Jon,
In regards to your signature pic and the associated signature comments...
Kinda of hypocritical, do you think? 2 points to your hypocriscy...
Other member's signatures are not OK but yours is? By the way, signatures are not on by default so your previous signature on how to shut them off is puzzling. It seems that you just don't like the messages in other member's signature as they are not up to your standards. For me, that falls into the category of "Too Damn Bad"! Your problem, not mine.
Secondly, the message of your signature. I am totally OK with "Coexist" but I don't have a bumper sticker on my car to reflect that. I also don't try to ram my belief down other peoples throat either.
Here is my point, "Coexist", does that not mean tolerance of other's beliefs, views and opinion?
Practice what you preach! Sounds like your signature says to me, "do as I say not as I do".
Nothing personal, just how I see it. Please stop embarrassing yourself, in my opinion.
If the forum mods see fit that this post be deleted or further ramifications from my opinion posted, I am OK with that.
Regards, Jerry
Most sites simply ban political and religious speech outright, other than in a OT forum. I've been involved with moderating several forums and this is how I've seen handled in most places. I personally can accept religious speech in forums much sooner than political speech. I would prefer if political speech be banned in the general forums, and have said so publicly with respect to overtly political avatars.
But, in the end, it's the moderator's call and the moderators appear to allow it.
As for the self-contradictory nature of his signature, I'm sympathetic to it. If he's coming from the "no political/religion in general forum" camp (common in most forums), then he's naming his preference for having rules against it but if there are no rules, here is another to add to the mix. I would think your response is exactly what he's looking for actually. If you don't like seeing religiously oriented signatures in the general forum, then ask the moderators to ban all of them.
I don't want to see religious signatures banned, just to be clear. I can coexist.
Knives? Did someone mention knives?
Today's carry...
