I've been carrying these 2 for the last couple of days.
A 4 1/8" Schrade trapper, and my CRKT 'Kit Carson'.
The trapper is scary sharp since I used my new lansky :)

Very nice Primble Barlow Dave; I have a Primble Jack - they are nicely made knives (regardless of which manufacturer made them). Ken, I had one of the Lansky kits for 15 or so years before I ever opened or used it - they do an amazing job in building a good edge, once it's there you can maintain it on a stone or with ceramic sticks.

Something unusual and unexpected has happened to me - I dropped this Case 6318 SS in my pocket on the 15th, wanting to try it out as an EDC when wearing either shorts or jeans; it rides in the LFP. I never expected that it would grow on me so fast - it has been in my pocket everyday since. In fact I find that as I look over my selection of EDC knives each morning (probably 12 - 15 knives if I count up) that this one just draws my hand each morning and finds itself dropped into that pocket for the day. This can't be right, I have many knives to carry - how did ONE knife become a favorite (so quickly and so unexpectedly)? OH

Simple explanation Bruce....the diagnosis is Steelarium. A rare disease found mostly with the baby boomer generation that causes an unkwon and unexplained attraction to one knife in particular. There is no cure.....by the way.

P.S. - Hope you don't get better!

Thank you Dr. Scott for the speedy diagnosis! ::tu:: As you state that there is no cure, I will just have to suffer through this affliction (along with all my steel brothers here at AAPK). :D

I have one of those in Orange(Thank you 313 Mike). Thought so much of it I bought one for one of my cousins. It's a good solid knife.
