Those 84 11's don't seem to be as plentiful as the Craftsman knives but a joy when you find one.

Thank you Floyd.
I'm happy when I find ANY "72" variation.

Very nice.....cleaned up really well!!New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sat Aug 08, 2020 4:11 pm Today I added this knife to my CAMILLUS 72 variation collection. It's another POWR-KRAFT 84-11, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. It required some cleaning and it received some cleaning. I took a few pictures and here it is.

Re: Camillus 72 Clones
Yesterday a Schrade 863 I ordered finally came in. The scales are not cracked, blades are tight, no wobble with great snap on all blades, but does have some scratches & spots on the blade, with some past life sharpening issues it looks like. But It will clean up nice. A nice addition to my Camillus 72 clones.

Did you guys see this one?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/193612264530?_ ... nordt=true
I bid on it, but I didn't get it. I'm guessing these came from the last gasps of Camillus? I tried looking in the Camillus catalogs that are online, but I couldn't find it. I think the shield looks pretty neat.

Re: Camillus 72 Clones
I got that one TFL. It's actually my 2nd one. I've never looked for it in catalog's so I don't know when they were made. I have seen them with that shield in both stockman and 72 models. Sorry you didn't get it but they do show up with some frequency. I'll post pics when it gets here.TwoFlowersLuggage wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 5:55 am Did you guys see this one?

LOL - I'm glad you got it! I figured it was someone on here, that's one of the reasons I asked about it! Sorry I made you pay more for it!doglegg wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 12:45 pmI got that one TFL. I'm guessing it was a SFO for someone. Kinda like the Ducks on the Water was for Sears at Christmas of 1991. I'm going with SMKW.

Camillus Yello-Jaket Stockman. Made for Smoky Mountain Knife Works c.2002. They also made a whittler, trapper and small lockback with the same handle material, shield and blade etch. I believe Camillus owned 50% of SMKW at the time.

Fished an Ulster 63 out of the bay this week. The blade etch reads Nevada Mines Safety Award.
