Finally - a Voice Of Reason - this is exactly what I proposed to the auction site admin Bryan two hours ago (please see screen capture of PM sent below). He's off line right now, and I haven't gotten a response from him yet, but at this point, it's the only fair thing to do for all concerned.

If any of you questions my honesty, please go back to page two of this thread and read through all the posts - between these screen captures and the posts made on this thread, I think it's easy to see I'm not the dirtbag here. Oddly, the $30.00 bid I got in PM in January along with some nasty bashing of his fellow forum members came from an active poster here. Can you guess who that was?

I'm not bullying here. I'm the victim lol DANG... If it would have sold for $5,000 this would not be an issue and the deal would be done, finished and in the mail.

We're BOTH victims here IMHO. I am truly sorry this happened, but if you read back through the entire thread, look at the screen captures and figure out the time line - and I'm sure Bryan can look at it from the admin side and confirm all of this info is legit - you'll see this was just a really - excuse the language - shitty situation for all concerned and nothing any of us could control.

As I just told you in PM, once we're sure the auction site is working properly, I'll relist the knife and anyone, including reddirtknives is welcome to bid. If it sells for 50 bucks, I'm happy to honor the sale. At least we'll know it was a legit, fair auction.

Well I'm not going to mention anything about how messed up auctions have gone in the past because they usually don't end all fine and dandy thats just a fact. Kinda like when the poker chips and the cash don't add up right at the end of a poker game. Somehow I'll be the bad guy and I'm going to be to blame for all of the worlds heartaches because whatever happened which I still don't understand. Where is the problem? The other bidders didn't have a problem getting theres in. Now if it was bad timing or a date mix up thats too bad the show goes on. Just think if others use this situation as a model for THEIR auctions.. Oh boy what a mess... Go figure this was my first time bidding in this auction site lol just my luck again...

lmao I just read the letter you posted of yourself typing. For the record eh hem I DID NOT RIGHT HER ANY NASTY PM'S AT ALL THAT IS AN UNTRUE STATEMENT!!! AND THIS IS THE KIND OF THING THAT NEEDS TO BE AVOIDED ON "OUR" FORUMS AS COLLECTORS. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME KIND OF RULE AS TO WHO AND WHEN AND WHAT CRITERIA NEEDS TO BE MET TO AUCTION ON KNIFE-AUCTION.COM OR THE THURSDAY NIGHT AUCTIONS!!!
THIS IS ABSURD!
THIS IS LIKE AN UGLY FACEBOOK MOMENT OR 1ST GRADER PLAY OUT OF BOREDOM
FOLKS SHE'S NOT EVEN A COLLECTOR~~~~ SHE IS JUST TRYING TO GET MONEY $$$$$$$$$$ THE AMOUNT I WON WITH DIDN'T MAKE HER HAPPY $$$$$$$$$$$$$
SHE SHOULD SELL IT ON EBAY LIKE EVERYONE ELSE HAS TOLD HER BUT BUT BUT WHY WON'T SHE?????
HAVE YOU GUYS GIVEN THAT ANY THOUGHT?
AFTER THIS WHY WOULD SHE WANT TO TRY TO SELL IT HERE AGAIN????
HAVE YOU GUYS GIVEN ANY OF THIS ANY THOUGHT???
I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST BIDDING ON ANY OF HER AUCTIONS BECAUSE OF THE OBVIOUS!!! SHE TOLD ME ONCE THE KNIVES ARE GONE SHE WON'T BE BACK!!!
SHE IS PLAYING EVERYONE FOR SUCKERS AND WHO'S TO SAY SHE WILL EVEN SEND THE KNIFE? IF SO IN WHAT CONDITION???
USE THOSE LITTLE THINKERS YOU HAVE FELLAS..... THIS IS NO BUENO
DON'T CUT YOUR OWN THROATS OVER THIS STUPID LITTLE KNIFE THAT NO ONE HAS SEEN FUNCTION!!!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ::td::

Lady, If you were saying that I offered you $30 then you are a flat out liar as I offered you nothing at all but advice and in my opinion it was good sound advice. Now to sway the masses you resort to lying? I'm just saying , If I read that correctly it seemed like you were trying to be crafty in persuading thoughts that I'm a dirtbag (I only tried to buy a knife) and that I sent you rude or nasty PM's (another lie) and that I offered you one red cent for that knife (total complete liar.. Watch her guys) and that I bashed fellow members (untrue shes a lie RUN FROM HER) and then to bring these lies to Bryan who I'm sure has better things to do than babysit some scheming scamming lying non-collector who is only trying to get all she can out of ONE OF YOU...Not anyone on ebay ... her sights are set on YOU... Was her x husband a knife collector? I'm scared of people like this.
SHE SHOULD BE BAND FOR FORFEITING AN AUCTION
Also, there needs to be some changes as far as having proven personal information for anyone trying to sell on this site or any affiliates
RUN GUYS RUN FAST
Has she already been BANNED FROM EBAY??? Don't you wonder??? I DO

Been away from the site for awhile today..................WOW..... .

I will PM Bryan my email, I have had trouble registering on other sites and I believe it has to do with my email addy.
There are only 2 characters before the @ in my email and Mike at CK had to activate me manually and told me that was
why. Have had one or two other sites have to be contacted by email to get activated manually as well. After waiting several hours for activation, I used the 'Contact Us' feature on the auction site, no response there either.

When I posted re: not being able to bid, I felt it was in the spirit of AAPK to help the seller get her best price, and
of course I wanted to bid also.

Lisa - I am a friend of Reds, so I can no longer bid on this knife in any format on any site. I may not agree with him
or his feelings on this comepletely, but that doesn't matter cause he is my bud. Good luck working it out. You listed it on the site of your choice, the auction ran its course.....what would your Grandpa do?

What would grandpa do? My Grandpa would have reminded Red he'd catch a lot more flies with sugar than he does with vinegar, then shook his head and told me to consider the source - that some time's there's just no talking sense to some people.

I have been nothing but honest. Red knows it, and the screen captures which Bryan can confirm were of messages sent way before the auctioned ended (one before there was even a bid) confirm it. Maybe Red isn't sharp enough to figure out how a screen capture works? Look in the lower right hand corner sweetie - there's a date and time stamp.

I wish site admin had been more responsive. If we were dealing with a normal buyer, and the auction issue had been dealt with in a timely manner, I honestly don't think things would have gone so awry. But in an attempt to take advantage of a situation which was clearly out of my hands, Red has done everything under the sun to try to slander, vilify and bully me. It didn't work, so now he's gone even further off the deep end. Nice use of the cap locks to try and get your denials across buddy, but I'm not the liar here.

IMBand, while I can appreciate your standing by someone you consider a friend, that little knife will rot in the bottom of my purse before I let it go to someone like him. I do agree with him on one point though - I should have just used my eBay account to auction it...you know, the one I've had for 13 years in fantastic standing. The only reason I decided to use this one was because most of you had been so nice with my initial inquiries, I thought I'd offer it on what I obviously thought was this site's auction.

Good day,
Lisa

Hey Lisa why don't you beat it on down the road with your trouble making. Don't you have a life? Isn't there a Baked goods forum or something. You have no interest in knives other than the few dollars you will get for the ones you have. But no you are lifeless and will stay here and cause trouble. I'm for you not being able to sell on here at all. You are a liar and a cheat and a trouble maker who needs to get a life. I don't know who your buddies are who are keeping you involved here but they are not making themselves known to me. I am still waiting to talk to Bryan and any Mod about this as none of them have consulted with me as of yet other than bryan's first email warning me of this situation. But I do not appreciate you starting this trouble here and telling lies. I have a Store here and I sell on ebay and I also sell locally and I am transparent and all three places entwine so if you don't think that I will not fight to the death when it comes to my innocence than you are very mistaken. I have 2 bad knees and this is how I am making a few dollars and I don't need your lies and childishness. WHY DON'T YOU GO AWAY AND GET A LIFE? Why don't you sell it on ebay where everyone knows you will get the most money? YOU NEED TO ANSWER TO YOU ACTIONS AND REASONS rather than trying to pour fuel on a fire the YOU started. I am very angry now with this whole situation.
Oh yeah, did I mention that you need to get a life and stop harassing the one you screwed over? B'BYE you should be BANNED.
MODS,BRYAN ummm Please contact me. Where is buyer protection? You guys can do the simple math right?
If I didn't know better I would think you guys are getting a kick out of this. I think it's kinda funny too IF IT WASN'T ME. You guys should try her lol she's a real lady.
IMBAND no problems here man but I wish you could persuade her to sell you the knife so she can leave. I have never been treated like this on any site especially one that is holding an auction and money and personal information and business is involved... Not even by the bitter women on AOL lmao. TRUTH... this is bad,*** remember I PUT MY MONEY DOWN AND WON AND SHE WELCHED*** AND NOW SHE IS HERE MOCKING ME AND MAKING A MOCKERY OUT OF AAPK IN GENERAL. THIS IS BAD BAD BAD
HURRY PLEASE... oh yeah she's only in it for the money

And sweety, I have been on Macintosh for the last 10 years so don't know or care about your "hi-tech" screen capture or where it is located. If you were really smart you could move any place you wanted it to be. I advise you to lay off of it. And also If you think that can't be edited than you are not just a condescending mean person but a stupid one at that. B'BYE Girls Dont ride for free with everyone and your free ride will end soon enough. I hope all of the guys who are advising you are found out because they are misguiding you. This is the only logical reason for why your lurking around here. TROLL

What I will most likely do is place them for auction on eBay myself. I had been told push button knives were against the law to sell there, but I researched it further last night and found the law specifically states that's for blades 2" and longer. The little push button Schrade knife's largest blade is just shy of that, so eBay approved it's listing. If I decide to go that route, it's okay if I post the auction link in these forums so anyone interested could participate if they wanted?

Lisa

Yes Lisa, please do post a link to your auctions!
I would like to bid on one or two of them!

Please take all of your knives to ebay like you said you would SWEETY. You have caused enough trouble here. Thank you Lisa

BS,BS,BS and more BS
IF it would have sold for $500 today this deal would have been perfectly fair and square no problems... Now she is dictating who can bid and who can't and deciding she is going to auction it again and decide when it is legitimate? SHEESH guys WTF??? Why don't you all just let her have control of the whole site. I bid $120.00 on this knife and it was a complete gamble. apparently others thought so too Hence the winning price $72.00 NOT MY FAULT I could have gambled away $120.00 but nope got lucky and won it for $72.00 AND Whats the deal. I guess she doesn't think that bryan has anything better to do than read through all of her captured pages and pages of crap from the forum. Where is the contract in this endeavor? My money is good as is my INTEGRITY. If she had an auction going off at a bad time of the week NOT MY PROBLEM. A Deal is a deal. I put up more than anyone else did towards the gamble. then she posts a video showing the knife (last minute commercial) and calls me a jerk. watch the other vids on her youtube that SHE filmed and you will see the sweetness she is involved in... Man you guys lol sheesh CAN I GET A WITNESS? ::uc:: ::facepalm::
