Very cool Dan. Beautiful flowers, and your caught the light just right on that. Looks like a few threads have been tripped. And good size too. Excellent!

Thanks doglegg

I must admit the quality was pure luck. Taken with my iphone.
The web was at head level, I almost walked straight into it

I call this "The Felonius Van." It was donated to my sister for her drug recovery program for ladies who have finished their jail time and volunteer to participate. The support of the community has been tremendous.

That's great news QS
So much wonderful help available now to put good people back on track.
I'm sure that your assistance has been a big factor in her recovery.

OF, I think there might be a bit of a misunderstanding. My sister Bev has never used drugs. She established a program for others, i.e. for ladies being released from jail. She has spent much of her life helping others. She started with the late Paul Newman and his camps for the seriously ill. He eventually sent her off to other countries to set up camps. She was very active in providing great help to the children of Chernobyl. One way or another she practices the beatitudes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I and all our family are tremendously proud of her.

Thank you guys. The Amens are appreciated. My only "complaint" is that with her new endeavor I'm lucky to see her 1 day out of 10. Besides missing her cooking, I miss her keeping me on track about the important things in this life.

I've had a young bald eagle handing around my house for the last couple days.He seems to be having some trouble flying very far.I don't know if he has gotten banged up or what but he can fly.I contacted the Division of Wildelife and they said just to watch him.If it can fly, they can't really do much.

Roger, keep us updated. If he has problems there seems to be a lot of rehabbers around. Interesting to watch.

Definitely a juvenile bird.
Is there a nest near your home? The behavior you describe is somewhat typical
of one that has fallen out of the nest too soon. Not quite ready to fly.
It is possible that the parents are close by.
So long as it can find food, and a predator doesn't find it,
it should be fine .... enjoy the treat !

The nest is about 200 yards straight up a heavily wooded hillside and across a highway from my house. You maybe right Chris, but a juvenile has been flying around for 5 or 6 weeks. The nesting pair have raised 2 in the same year in the past, but that far apart to flight?

I stand corrected Quick Steel.

Dan I used to have senior moments. Now I have senior hours, days, and weeks.
