Thanks, David, Floyd, Kerry, Nick, and Tony.

Having a nice, old, ebony jack is a lot like owning a Chevy work truck, ( yeah, I drive one), and keeping it spic and span. It may not compare with a GMC Denali, but it can still look good going down the road.

Great knives and pics, David, Tony, and Kerry.

Now I have to hold my tongue.
Envy is not a good thing. Could not tell you the last time I went to York for the grand daddy train show it’s absolutely the best. Only one problem got to have a pocket full of cash.
I like the knife also RR but my weakness is the toy trains.
Thank you very much John please post some York pictures at the train thread

Nice! Personally, the Bear Buck copy is my favorite offering from them--slimmer (thus a little lighter) than the 110, but comfortable. Also, not noticeable in the pocket when you ditch the sheath for pocket carry.

Recently did some sharpening work on the Hard Hat version I got from you in last year's POS Exchange. I'm honestly surprised at how keen of an edge it got. Recently got a decent sharpening stone at a local antique store for $10 that's 1000/6000. The larger size (7" by 2.25) coupled with the fact it came with a wooden base with a rubber pad on the bottom makes it much easier to hold the edge properly against the stone.

This is the one, I think. $50 new!

My base looks different, so it's either older or homemade. Only problem with these is that most "standard" stones tend to be about 8", so I don't know if a coarser Norton (or even the cheapie Harbor Freight stones) will fit in the holder.

Thanks Cody! ::handshake:: I used to have a similar stone, but switched to diamond plates for pocket knives.
Carrying a RoseCraft Farm Hand today. Glad the Hard Hat is working for you! Think I drew your name 2 years in a row in the Exchange. ::nod::
