This morning out to the farm, I carried an approx 100 yr old Robeson.

Now I am carrying about a 50 yr old Robeson.

They are talking, telling me stories.

Don't listen to them. They're all sea stories. Haven't you noticed they all start out with "This is no s---!"

While Ken is looking for his camera, here's my 2 dotter next to my recently dropped #8.

Gard, would be fun to see how well an Inox #9 would hold up for you at work. Word is the Sandvik is as good or better than Bucks 420HC.

Think I finally got the feel for refinishing the beech.

I've tried her at work to lite and she rolls in my hand under heavy pressure.my Opinels are GREAT for kitchen cutlery..The 440C holds up very well for me in a 12hour work day striping out cables I love it touching her up once in a while on the bottom of a ceramic coffee cup.

Yours is a 7 in Carbone, yes. The 9 is much bigger in the hand. Still round though.

I thought this knife worth a mention. It is a new Queen made by the Daniels family I do believe. You wont find a better $70.00 knife for a EDC in my opinion.I've liked the D2 steel in a other knife I own and grabbed this one up.
Good EDC guy's, nice Case Rick.

I have a few barlows in my collection but never used one for an edc. For some reason I thought they would be too bulky. Ive been carrying this old imperial last couple days here at work and I must say its a great work knife. It has the plastic handles so its light and durable and the blade takes and holds a great edge. Feels good in my pocket too. I must say a pleasant surprise. Great working knife. Imo. ::tu::
