Can anyone shine any light on this bowie I bought on eBay?
It's completely unmarked, 9 1/2", full-tang, brass guards and pins, well-worn stag/bone/ antler scales, and weighs likely close to a pound or more. I thought it would make a good companion for the folder in the 2nd picture, one in a pocket one on a hip.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

Marco, I have a German Eye Brand, that look similar, but with some differences, finger guard is different, the handle is more like a Pumas with similar brass pins. Anything to make you think yours might be German?

Nope, not really, Dog, no more or less than if you'd suggested English made, Brazilian made, or Canadian made, in fact, it's not exuding any sort of vibe at all, but thanks for taking a shot all the same. ::handshake::

Got one in myself recently to add to my A.G. Russell Japanese collection. It’s a bird a trout knife. Scales are Quince burl wood and the blade is Damascus, not sure if it’s carbon steel of more likely stainless steel. Nice knife with a full tapered tang construction. Love it when they put a liner on between the scales and the blade, just adds a touch of class to it. Wish I knew who made this in Japan. My guess would be Master Fukuta or Hiro Knives.
