I agree OH, great find. Rusty springs are better than rusty blades, and from what I see in your photo this knife is in very good condition cosmetically, so I call that a win!

Schrade 127UH Lockblade Hunter. I picked this knife up earlier this week at a pawn & gun - it had been stored poorly so the spring was rusted to the point the blade had to be pulled hard to open and pushed closed (no snap). It looked like it had never been used, so I took a chance (it was CHEAP) - soaked the tang, pivot area, and spring in oil since Tuesday night. Been working the blade and adding oil - working right well now, locks well, even has snap once more on closing. Had to put an edge on it - I like tinkering with knives. OH

Good one. I have a fondness for folding hunters and Schrades in particular. Thanx for showing it.

Picked up a nice R343 Remington harness jack today at the North Star Blade Coll. club meeting for very reasonable. I won't say how much but it was under $36.___Dave

Here's an old Wallkill River pocket folder that takes a back seat to NYK Hammer Brand.
Still a great little 3 3/8", all steel knife. I'm going to sharpen it and pack it for a while.

Nice knife joe. I love giving old knives some use. It's a shame so many of these great old workhorses get retired when they can be so enjoyable to use. I always have a Leatherman on my belt for anything that may overtax any of my old knives that I carry. Yours has that "just like Grandpa used to carry" look to it I love in knives. ___Dave

That folding sickle is interesting. Will be interesting finding out opinions as to it's origion. Maybe East Indian, Ceylon, Pakistan of North African. I'll be watching in case someone actually knows.___Dave

I just picked these up. This one is a little rough, maybe some cell outgassing, but a neat example, I don't think I have another "Bay State Knife Co."

I don't usually go for these, but the price was right on it. I think it is cool!

I couldn't resist buying this dagger/fishting knife with unfinished tang.....
There's also no real tang stamp except for some sort of anglo-saxon cross in the tang area....

Any info is appreciated..
