I was really happy to find this one, TopDog! It was very rusty, buy luckily it was only on the surface. The handles are in really decent shape considering it's age. The hairline is exactly the same on the other side, but you can't even feel most of it with your fingernail. It's still really tight the blade sharpened right up, and she walks and talks like new. I just love these old knives!!!GSPTOPDOG wrote: βSat Sep 09, 2023 3:10 amtoomanyknives wrote: βSat Sep 09, 2023 1:46 am Here's my latest. Their "Cambone" was really good looking, and holds up well..GSPTOPDOG wrote: βSat Sep 09, 2023 3:10 amtoomanyknives wrote: βSat Sep 09, 2023 1:46 am Here's my latest. Very true, but honestly one of my favorites is the Rough Black Case stuff from way back. It's not bone, and it's not delrin, but I sure like the way it looks..Here's my old Tested 6318. I really dig the looks of it..GSPTOPDOG wrote: βSat Sep 09, 2023 3:34 amtoomanyknives wrote: βSat Sep 09, 2023 3:26 amOh, and not a thing wrong with your Camillus. but Derlin is just NOT bone....

I have the same jade on a medium Toothpick. Super nice!
Very nice SSK. I love purple knives and especially Barlows!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: βThu Oct 26, 2023 12:29 am Got in my purple barn board jigged bone Barlow and am pleased with how nice it is. Looks a lot like the one in the picture. I was afraid it would be more washed out in appearance, but as you can see itβs very dark in purple color.
