Today I added this pocket knife to my "general" CAMILLUS pocket knife collection. It is a 1958 CAMILLUS, single blade, 3 tool pocket knife. A nice companion for the 1949, the 1959 and the 1960 that I've acquired. It has a few issues, but one can be repaired. It also needed a little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

This is my most recent arrival to my all metal handle knives collection. It's a THE W & H CO. - USA - NEWARK NJ, single blade pocket knife. According to the GOINS book, "c 1870-1959 Whitehead & Hoag was founded in 1870. They went out of business about 1959. This was an advertising specialties firm; the knives were made for them by a variety of cutlery manufacturers." But with the advertising on the handles of the pocket knife, the date of manufacture can be narrowed down to circa 1930. There is a serial number(?) stamped into the handle. It measures just a hair under 2 1/4" closed and just a hair over 3 3/4" open. It is completely magnetic. I don't collect advertising pocket knives per se, but besides being all metal, it advertises a bank during the depression era and I also have a direct connection with the town/city of Poughkeepsie, but not with a bank. It needed a bit of cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

If you think that I already posted THIS EXACT SAME pocket knife under this topic, think again, you're wrong.

This is my latest entry for this topic. It's a GEO SCHRADE, single blade with fish scaler, double tang stamp, wire frame/handle pocket knife. Definitely not the cleanest example of this pattern that I've obtained. It needed cleaning. I did what I could with it. The handle looks like it has issues (it isn't rusted), but it's really not that bad. I took some pictures and here it is.

This is the most recent acquisition for my wire handle/frame, pocket knife collection. It's a GEO. SCHRADE, single blade, wire handle/frame, hawkbill pruner pocket knife. It's in a helluva lot better condition than it's cousin that's posted just above this.

Today this pocket knife joined my "general" CAMILLUS pocket knife collection. It is a 1959 CAMILLUS (my 2nd), single blade, 3 tool pocket knife. A nice companion for the 1949, the 1958, the other 1959 and the 1960 MIL-K's that I posted previously under this topic/thread. It is in EXCELLENT condition and required minimal cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

I'm not going to post the rest of my "W & H" (Whitehead & Hoag) all metal, fob/pocket knives
here, in this topic/thread. Instead, here is the link to view them all, so far, in a different topic/thread.

This afternoon, this pocket knife joined my MIL-K collection. It's a STEVENSON 45 (stamped on the bail), single blade, 3 tool pocket knife. A nice companion for my CAMILLUS 1949, 1958, two 1959's and 1960 MIL-K pocket knives. It is in VERY GOOD condition and required minimal cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
