I liked the handle, but the blade was really light on this model.... ::hmm::

I should have picked up one of the GEC fixed blades 10 years ago. These days everything GEC makes is scarfed up by flippers and marked up 300%.

I bought the moss agate blade and the Elk antler. Then put it together myself. The obsidian knife I just bought as is in Bend OR. Native artist did the work. Thanks.

This Japanese made Damascus knife is unmarked as to its creator or location. The workmanship looks first rate to me. The almost 5" blade is set of by a full tang covered in a lustrous hardwood.

Yes, Ken, there is a very nice taper to the tang as it approaches the rear of the handle. Also the blade edge is exquisitely sharp. Very exceptional.
