John, may I ask when you first experienced a connection with eagles as illustrated, literally, on your hand?

Our daughter took this picture of our son, Philip and his little boy, Dawson, our youngest grandson. I really like this picture, that's our baby boy, 40 years old and his baby boy, 30 months old! They are walking down the "long road" just like when Philip was a little feller accompanied by a dog or two.
Time really flies when you're havin' fun!

Floyd, it was my pleasure to share the picture with our AAPK family. You are right, my friend, there were a lot of things involved over the years getting to that point yesterday, Thanksgiving Day 2018.

Phil I have no doubt that photo gave you a very good feeling. IMO it's a tribute to what you've laid out for those who follow you. I think you've done very well my friend.

That's a great picture Phil and I can feel the emotion both in your words and see it in the picture. None of my Grandkids are that small any more, and my Great's are a little older than that. Time sure sails by. It's both fun and sad to see pictures. ____Dave

Wow Phillip Wow - most of us work our entire life to build a legacy but to capture it in a picture truly are 1,000 words. You and Ms Joy should be proud of what you've accomplished with the Grace of God.

Now jmh that is just plain cool. I always enjoy those right place at the right time moments. Their rarity makes them special. I guess everyone needs a nap sometimes.

A little help needed John. Even double enlarged I can't quite make out what I am seeing. A racoon? Fox?

Love it when that clean, crisp Canadian air moves in.

Don't mind the snow at all.
Born up in Van Buren, Maine, north of Caribou, close to Madawaska. From there it was 3 years at Eilson AFB, Alaska, near Fairbanks. I remember Dad taking us out Trick-or-treating, the snow was deeper than I was tall.
From there to upstate New York, right in the snow belt. Back to downeast Maine, down to the snow belt of NY, back to northern Maine, then to Dover, New Hampshire where I graduated, 1980. Dad was in the Air Force.
Then I joined - two years in Ohio, three in Germany, last 15 here in New Jersey. Still here since '86.
I kinda enjoy shoveling, once I get out and get started. Hard for me to stop with just my own property. Usually wind up helping the neighbors on either side.
