+1 on hanging on to the Fusions if you like them. Ford is dumping the car line as noted. I did hear they were keeping the Mustangs AND Fusions. They do look good to my eye.

When I had to replace a company car after the accident last summer. I bought a 2014 Taurus. Yeah I know, they're fleet cars. I like their styling. I've driven Taurii(?) for a long time as company cars and they've all been reliable.

My daughter has a Fiesta and my son a Focus. A good friend of mine just got an Escape and he loves it. I'm sorry to see the Ford cars going away. I keep thinking this is a marketing ploy in preparation of some sort of announcement of entirely new vehicles - but that would mean we should have seen some concept cars in the last couple of years. Have there been any that weren't trucks, SUVs or warmed-over Mustangs?

None I've seen TFL but then no one would call me trendy either. If Ford does this what effect will this have on Lincoln? They don't have a Mustang or anything like it right now. Maybe Lincoln follows Mercury into oblivion.

We were not using our in-ground pool much,for the last few years __ finally got the wife to ""let me"" fill it in, last spring -- friend of mine has a small skid-steer,so he and I went to work,filling in my pool -- removed all the plastic type stuff,busted up the concrete type stuff, and pushed it all in the hole -- had enough dirt from the mounds and other, that they took out when it was built, to fill it over -- took a rotor tiller, tilled the soil, sowed 50lbs. of Sahara Bermuda grass seeds, added 50lbs. of 10-18-10 Fertilizer, then mashed it all in the dirt /mud, with the skid-steer tracs -- it has really surprised me how fast it changed into a grass back yard again -- before & after photos** -- have a great day guys,Monk***

.....I've got a 2006 mercury montego that we bought used in 2009-it had 16,000 miles on it.we've driven it 9 years now, it's got 49,000 miles on it and it has been one of the best cars I ever owned(next to the t'bird)!!!!...... ....................

I'd a LOT rather mow it than maintain it! My sister had a pool for several years. Many hours a week plus big $$$ in chemicals to keep it clean. She says never again!

Sorta like owning a boat - the two best days are when you get it and when you sell it.

LOL - I put 3X the number of miles on my car in 3 years less time! The joys of a 100 mile/day round trip commute!

I took my wife to see one of the area landmarks, High Bridge, which spans the Kentucky River near Wilmore, Kentucky. Below is a link to the Wikipedia page if you're interested in learning more about it. While we were there a train roared by overhead. It was LOUD!! Also while we were there a sternwheeler paddleboat, The Dixie Belle, passed beneath the bridge carrying tourists up the river.

Phil, thanks for mentioning it is the Kentucky River. I would have guessed Green River.

Beautiful photos of your city Eustace ... I love the old history in Europe... In the USA we don't have the old history that I have had the pleasure of seeing in many European countries - one of the perks of my career ... truth is my wife and I lived in Paris France in the late 1980s and just down the street was still part of the original Roman wall that surrounded the the center of Paris at one time... We were also a very close walk to Notre Dame (ca 1000 AD) but Paris has so many historical sites and art that only one can truly appreciate seeing in person ... and than the castles - just awesome sites to visit in many European countries... I have always been of the philosophy that if possible one should see the world to gain a perspective that will open your eyes to many things...
