I'm posting this here because I can't figure out another place to put it. It's a PUMA fish knife that serves as a fish-knocker, scaler, cleaner, and scale.
It's the second one I've owned in 45+ years. To weigh a fish the knife is suspended from a ring in the tang and the fish is tied to a notch in the scaler/spine of the blade until the knife hangs level. The weight is then read from the etchings on the blade, from 10 oz. to 12 lbs.! It's an unwieldy operation, not a tribute to German engineering. It's heavy, hard to store, display, and carry, and 10 inches long, open. Both of the ones I've had were like new, probably for the reasons above. I've never seen a sheath if there is one. But, it is a conversation piece and probably worth some good money to a PUMA collector. J.O'.

I have seen those online for years, but never knew about the weighing feature. Very nice!

Temuco is a city in Chile, so de Temuco means "In Temuco". RDO. Is short for Reverend, but they also use it for radio. So, Radio in Temuco, or Reverend in Temuco.. Your choice, I guess.. Cool piece though, J.O'.

Thank you sir!! Its a nifty little pen knife to me. It is marked on both blades and has half stops on both blades as well. Appreciate ya.

Ridge it reads Imperial R Co Germany. It looks like a K in my picture, but it's a R. Do you see anything on Imperial R Co Germany in the books?

Unusual to see a tuxedo sans bolsters. Usually have at minimum tip bolsters. Looks like 30's era. A lot of German made knives of that period had USA sounding names.

Last one: knife with 3 blades, one of which is a file that also acts as a handle for the fingernail clippers built into the end. A sliding clip retains the spring loaded handle when not in use.

Ray I have the same knife. Good to see another one! I think they originally came with four different types of blades. The one I have has two of the original blades with it.

I see no name on mine or any reference to a patent. I am sure it was patented but have yet to find it!

Dimitri: On mine there is a very faint stamp on the edge about 1 inch forward of the raised area you push on to open it that says, PAT. APLD. Here is a pic.
