I can't believe someone paid $500 for this. I have one that was probably $35, and American Tomahawk Co. that was made in Taiwan. Am I missing something? ::mdm::

Well, I did find this with some information about the company's start, so it could have been a Vietnam issued edged weapon.

But mine is definitely marked "Taiwan" with the same kind of sheath.

Here's one that sold for $679 back in 2018, maybe it was a good deal?

Bruce usually runs one of those Schrade collector club knives. He ran that club and obviously had lots left over because he's sold those for years.

a good question Roger, I don’t know anyone with $110K at their disposal to even consider this purchase - seems like a side deal is the more likely strategy.

Bruce put a large advertisement in Knife Magazine showing those knives.Maybe he has bidders for such knives, but it seems they top out in the mid to upper 4 digit range.

Nice, David. ::groove:: Believe it or not, I ended up with 8 pocket knives, supposed to arrive Tuesday. Mostly Keen Kutters, but also a 2009 AAPK Club knife, Queen Muskrat and a Jack Knife Ben.

Won these in the latest auction. Probably paid too much but I'll live with it.
