cause we know the winning number is aah wait for it aah now wait for it aah 377 sorry Jerry but there it is!!!!!! ::ds:: ::tu::

Thanks TJ

Well, Mister I'm Going To Win With 377 and You're Not. Would you care to make a friendly little side bet? ::handshake:: The one whose number comes closest to the winning number gets a knife sent to him by the other party. It doesn't have to be anything fancy but not something that should be in the POS round table either. (Please, no shell handles or Chinese knives) I'll even tip my hand. This is what I'm putting up. Bear MGC lockback with genuine pearl handles, 3-1/8" closed - Never used. Never sharpened. Never carried. ::tu:: ::ds::

555 is smack dab in the middle between our numbers and a null bet -- nobody wins
Winning number is under 555 -- I send a knife to you (you have a slight numerical advantage).
Winning number is over 555 -- you send a knife to me.

The gauntlet has been thrown down. What say you sir? Pocket knives at 555 paces?? Image

Now that sounds like a fun wager!!!!

Just to let y'all know, since I joined here the other day, my wife has even been reading the research articles and searching old stuff out on the internet. She just came out onto the porch and said, "I bought you a knife. Its old I thought you might like it." She bought me an old 2 blade H. Boker & Co. Improved Cutlery. She said, "I looked the tang stamp up on aapk to make sure it was old and a good one."

Man I love this site.

Man, can I borrow your wife?

Jim, just edit your post when you do that. I do it all the time, sometimes four or five times before I get it right. Yes I do use 'Preview' but...
