Here is one I got last week.
When closed the blade is a bit short of the far side of the easy open cut out.
But the bone is good except for a couple pin cracks.

dimitri, was that robeson spear made that way, or was it altered to fit someones working needs? i never seen one notched like that. i have seen notches in some knives to fit seamstresses jobs. but if that was made to pull tread, there would be telltale signs on the handle where to notch is. because you certainly wouldn't use that notch with the blade opened
.. so it must be original to the blade, but what is it for...

The ebony handle is an EC Simmons Keen Kutter and the peachseed bone is a Schrade Cut Co. I have a few more interesting EO's, I need to locate and get the photos posted.
