Hard to pick a favorite EDC, for I have quite a few users that I rotate...
Today I have an old McCoy (Mt. Ida, Arkansas) stockman in my right front pocket.
Nothing fancy, but an old trusty EDC that has seen a lot of use over the years.

My EDC is a Victorinox pioneer in black alox. Nothing fancy, but comes in handy. I also bought both my sons-in-law the same knife, which I believe they also carry.

I don't have a pic but i am sure you have seen a Byrd cara cara. I like a big folder that you can scrap paint with, use as a screw driver. cut aluminum, and is thin enough to hardly no it is in your pocket. It is big enough that someone can see it in your hand and know you mean busines, if needed. i have carried it for about two years now and haven't even tightened a screw. I just can't take an expensive knife and use it as a tool. i do have a couple of dress up knives, but i am scared i might scratch one. i believe one of the prior posts is true, it depends on what day it is, work or play. Great pics.

For the first 50 years of my knife carrying life, pocket knives were just tools. I never bought any that were not users and never considered collecting, accumulating or even owning more than one pocket knife at a time until about ten to thirteen years ago. If I lost my pocket knife (I don't recall ever breaking one), that's when I bought something new. In fact, none of the pocket knives were important enough to remember. (sheath knives were a different story)

For probably twenty years or more, I carried this little Schrade Old Timer 1080T. Bought it shortly after I got out of the Corps in the mid-'60s and am surprised I still have it.
