Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Recently grabbed this one. Partial to TDrops anyway, and good bone coloring. Also really wanted to try this black PVD coating. Finally found one I liked and this one does not disappoint. Also tight, no movement or wobble, close to centered, smooth all the way around. Digging it so far.

Really nice bones on that Teardrop, Ivoryman. Is that Antique Amber or regular Amber Bone? Either way, some of the nicest covers I've seen on a Case TD (after that $780 mammoth ivory model! Still in shock over the price that one sold for  )

Thanks Q, the box says "ANTIQ PSB. I assume that means Antique Peach Seed Bone. Doesn't say amber anywhere, but I thought it was until you got me to examin the box carefully. Now I'm thinking Antique bone. Thanks again for the compliments. Yeah, I'm no longer in the market for Mammoth when I see those prices for an otherwise $75 knife. Blows me away.

Great bones on a beastly knife Knifegnome. Congrats. Love old red bone like that kind.

Just received this 1978 Case 6383. I collect knives from 1978 as it was the year I graduated High School, and had really gotten into collecting.
This one is just like I like them, great snap on all blades, no wobble at all, no cracks, full blades, but some wear and patina. I cleaned it up just
a bit, and gave it a good oiling. I love a good "Case Queen" (pun intended) as much as the next guy, but then I never carry them, so this one is
just right. In the pocket it goes! And, I actually got what I think was a pretty good deal considering how much these have gone up. Another bonus
is that it's bone, as a lot of the knives in '78 were delrin.
