Thanks M&M ::handshake:: I walked right into the right place in the right direction and at the right time to get it, ::handshake::... ::hmm:: You see, usually I have very bad timing and I miss a lot of good deals... so often a little too late and many good deals slip by me ...
In fact... ::hmm:: ... you could say:

I been in the right place
But it must have been the wrong time
My head is in a bad place
But I'm having such a good time on AAPK
I've been running trying to get hung up in my mind
Really got to give myself a good talking to this time
About buying TOO many knives when I ain't got a dime... ::facepalm::

Even I recognize "Right place, wrong time" by Dr. John, Dog! ::hmm::
Regarding your ability to be where the deals are, my friend, has plenty to do with the fact that you don't watch TV or expose yourself to the electronic world much, so don't be too hard on yourself! ::handshake::

You're good Mark ::handshake:: , I've got to reach deep into archives to slip one past you... ::paranoid:: Sometimes it is good to be "disconnected" and not constantly bombarded by too much "white noise" ::paranoid:: and sometimes you miss the boat... there you are finding yourself standing on the pier watching the ship sail away... In fact, that reminds me of a time ... ::hmm::

... watching the ships that go sailin'
Somewhere beyond the sea
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
And never again I'll go sailing
No more sailing
So long sailing
Bye bye sailing

Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
She's there watching for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to her arms
I'd go sailing

It's far beyond the stars
It's near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soon

Thanks! ::handshake:: I feel like if I was lost in the woods with just this knife (and maybe a fire starter) I will survive ... ::hmm:: as a matter of fact it makes me say to myself...

Oh no, not I, I will survive
At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinkin' I could never live without this knife on my side
But then I spent so many nights thinkin' how a Chinese counterfeit did me wrong
And I grew strong, and I learned how to get along
And so you're back, made in the USA
I just walked in to find it here with that Kydex sheath
Strong and sturdy, just like they say
I can go on now, go, walk out the door
Head out to the woods and live forevermore
Did you think I'd crumble? Did you think I'd lay down and die?
Oh no, not I, I will survive
Oh, as long as I know how to sharpen, I know I'll stay alive
I've got all my life to live, and I've got all my knives to give
And I'll survive, I will survive, hey, hey

Moss agate blade, Elk antler handle. Bought the blade already knapped, threw a handle on it and covered it with some fake sinew.

Did your "monkey see, monkey do" after viewing the copy GSPTDog posted the other day, Ken? lol!
Very nice KA-BAR bowie, a knife after my own heart!
Instead of "I couldn't help myself," why not go with, "why should I help myself", bud! lol! ::hmm::

Come on Man! ::disgust:: "I Will Survive" is a song by American singer Gloria Gaynor, released in October 1978 ... However, ::hmm:: ... you do get 0.25 credit for the fact that the song was also covered by Donna Summer...

In my defense, I did say I'm not much of a music aficionado, particularly Disco. ::huff::
That tune by Bobby Darin I've never heard or heard of, and I've heard of Gloria Gaynor but that's it. ::shrug::
I'll jus' take my 0.25 cents and crawl back into my cave now! ::facepalm::

Found this beautiful, Queen Hunter today in Snow Hill, MD. 11-3/4" LOA, 6-7/8" blade. Original sheath. Totally untouched, factory edge. Not normally my thing but too sweet to pass up. It has no model number that I can find. Any info, date, etc. appreciated. J.O'.
