It's been there before, QS. Today it's in some green cargo shorts! I love the versatility!

2014 Buck 284 Bantam. The current version is sold in "Mossy Oak Country", but I suspect that this is a different pattern as it is lighter in color. I

The knife advertises Jennmar, which is a pretty big name in the coal industry here. Their main business is roof bolts, but they are into staffing and several other tenets. It had been in the display case, and I decided that instead of buying yet another, I'd EDC this one as it was 30-40 years newer than the rest of the coal advertising knives I have. The camo has held up pretty well.

The 283 is really a backup knife, the 285 I've not warmed up to due to the tip-down clip. 284--at 3 3/4" closed, it's just right.

Nice! I prefer the Cub Scout to the standard Scout. The screwdriver locks and with slight tweaking (usually just takes a few strokes with the diamond file on my Leatherman), can fit a #2 Phillips screw, and so does the awl (I cut myself pretty badly when an awl shut up on my fingers once). It's lighter. Yeah, no can opener, but a 50 cent P-38 fixes that quickly. I have one clipped to the bails on both of mine.

When I was in Scouts (I joined in early 2007), I think the "cheap" one with stainless blades and blue Delrin slabs with the CS logo printed was still available at the gun store that was the dealer for Scout uniforms in my area. Should've maybe bought it, even though I was never a Cub Scout--I started out a little early at age 10 (as one of the two brothers that brought me into Scouts was the Patrol Leader) as a regular Scout.

I like the size of it, because it fits in the 5th pocket of mean old blue jeans. That's a good idea; a 50 cent P-38 clipped to the bail. I had sold a couple of Cub Scout knives in the past and I looked at one in a box of knives I set aside to sell and I thought; What am I doing? I am selling these for $19.50, I can't hardly sell them for more than that and to replace it a with a cheapo Chi-com knife I'll spend about $20 so... It became a an EDC and into that rotation.

When I was in Scouts, I was a Cub Scout, then a Boy Scout and made Eagle Scout at the end of my time with the troop. One of the best things I ever did.

SMF, Solingen, Rostfrei, since I'm not leaving the house with today's weather. Not sure if it was theater tipped and reshaped, but whoever did it did a nice job.
