We like pitchers!!

Every once in a while I get a hankerin' for a cold beer.
Haven't had a drink since January '94.
Don't miss the hangovers, headaches, dry mouth, nausea...

Besides, it leaves more money for knives!

My sons work project today. So "it's yeller!" say's that it is probably because of the wicked Corvette engine in it. Polished and ceramic coat. My wife said wow oh-boy. She had a 57.

That one is a beaut MRWatch, glad your boy feels good enough to work on them. Did your rock and mineral show turn out good. Is jewelry making another one of your talents?

He said this afternoon that about 1 pm. is all he can handle now. Yes I found around 10 goodies shopping for the bargains. No I don't make jewelry, but have the stuff to do engraving if I ever find my engraving ball after moving! Yesterday I found a Case serrated blade the size of a pairing knife. Did some outing today. Found a Montgomery Wards butcher knife for 50 cents at a Goodwill. Mac Tools Schrade Pocket knife 1985 47th anniversary folding limited edition like new in the box. and a beautiful small Colt Cub lockback Brown Stag pocket knife, # CT324 I will be posting later.

Hard to tell based on how it photographs but I think that color was called Colonial Cream. To me it always looked sorta like light mustard. When I was a kid a neighbor had a '57 Nomad station wagon that color.

Well, it has been over 60 years.

This old girl was visiting a bird feeding platform I built at the back of our house today. It was really nice to see her there. I was within six feet from her at times. She spent over 2 hours back there. She was a little confused as to where she found herself but eventually moved on.

A highly spectacular visit to a back yard feeder. Very cool. I've never seen a turkey thru my kitchen window, only turkey vultures.

We had one set of turkey tracks across the backyard in the fresh snow yesterday morning. There is a flock(or is it a congress, I forget) in the south end of the forty our house is in with a couple dozen birds, but they seldom come to our end probably because of our dogs on patrol. It's a little unusual for one to be wandering around by itself and it appeared to know where it was going because the tracks were as straight as an arrow across the yard and into the woods on the other side.___Dave

I looked it up. A group o turkeys are either referred to as a "gang" or a "rafter". ---► https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_E ... _by_animal

Personally, I doubt there are very many people who are familiar with those designations and a more common name in today's society would be "flock", as you called them.

This is a customers car that he was hired too remove some scratches. Someone used a paper towel dispenser type too remove something on the trunk lid. VERY BAD! Then he polished and glazed it and then applied the new ceramic coat. He said that the color looked up too be an actual vintage Corvette yellow. The owner does not drive as it is a show car.

Those are Turkey buzzards dogleg. At least that's what they told me. Seriously, the red head is the giveaway. A grim fact: Black Buzzards showed up at Gettysburg promptly after the battle. It was supposedly the first time they had been seen that far north. Can't vouch for the veracity of the story.

Always have difficulty with the two. I will watch red heads from now on. The Gettysburg story is reasonable as they are opportunist. Some one said that they look on Interstate Highways as cafeteria's.

It's wild flower season in Texas and it's a tradition to take pictures of people sitting in the bluebonnets (Texas state flower). After church my wife and mother in-law were out taking pictures and I came across this bee. It's also common to find fire ants and snakes in the bluebonnets.
